RANT ON NON-PERSONS

 

What I mean by non persons.  These people

became my friends and I posted them in a

spot on my top 10 friends.   They then sat

with their pretty faces hanging out of my page

for ever.

In this period of forever, not a poem for me,

not a picture, not a note or message or word.

 

I don`t mind that you are non-communicado,

that you are mute.... that is entirerly your

business----  but, I am tired of looking at you.

So, begone with you.

 

Oh , yes.  I have written, I have posted your

stuff in my groups, featured you, pleaded for

people to read you, so Pffftt !

I had no idea we had top friends on this thing :P i understand the frustration of being ignored and nothing being reciprocated. Im always a sucker for rants, lol had to click this. sort of reminds me of a poem i wrote a longtime ago called Virtual Touch

I understand your consternation, Eagle. When you do for others its so hard to accept that they don't have it in them to return the favor. Your hurt and anger are equally expressed in your poem/rant and I feel for you.

I think we have all had moments like this. Where we were ignored by the ones we supported fully. Most of my top friends don't venture here much anymore but I still keep them as top friend for I have contact with them else where. I completely understand your frustration with this issue. You made a great point without being vulgar or angry about it.

Thanks for the thoughtful review. As a note of explanation, I hardly ever gripe
about anything, or anyone. In this case the gripe was simply about alleged friends
whom I supported and reviewed and tried to help. In return, nothing.
So, this was a poor example of what I write, thanks and try something else

My top 10 is set on random.. I don't get read much, but that is because I don't send RRs or accept them at the moment.. perhaps next month.. anyway, set it to random and you won't have to see the same faces every day..

I find it so strange that folks do not put the friends that actually communicate with them on the top friend page...
I find the top friend thing to be just another writing for points lack luster non-writing necessity on this site...

but then, some have hinted that maybe I don't have friends and nobody reads me. It's a good thing I have a thick skin. And loving companions.

This has happened to me. And, after a certain period, I simply delete them.
