Cognitive limitations

 

1---Less is better

 

2---If our brains receive too much

      information we tend to choose

      the simple form:cognitive limitation.

 

If you list many clever sayings on your page

chances are none will be chosen.

List one or two and everyone will remember.

 

Write a story with many parts and few will read.

Write a four line verse and everyone will remember.

This is an intresting proposition...although it is like you are saying we are animals of simplicity. Is this what you meant? Or was it that we have short attention spans? On this I would agree and it is only getting worse with our appetite for more information at faster and faster rates. We want the news when we want it not when the station wants to show it. We want our internet connections to be fast and god forbid us being shut out of a site we love...then the shite hits the fan. I think we are a species that demands more and as we learn to multitask into the next generation of antisocial homebodies I wonder what the new world will look like?

Sorry I know I wrote a lot but it was very early in the morning...I need some sleep. :)
