We begin this journey
Not alone,
Never alone,
For we are one.

What is best for one,
It may not be best for both,
We must compromise,
No matter what.

Life,
It will fight us,
With great strength,
To cloud our judgement.

No matter what happens,
We must stick together,
We must be one,
Never alone.

We need to hold true,
With our love,
With our strength,
To finish this long journey.

What is ahead,
It will scare us,
As it already does,
Every single day.

We are together,
As one,
Journeying this long path,
You and I.
