Spoiled Milk

Spoiled Milk

A Poem by E.K.Donaldson

How horrid,

How gross

Is your spoiled milk!

It sifts and never percolates its smell!

Oh how disgusting,

How demotivating

Is its look.

It unappetizes and deters,

Even the bravest of us all.

How sickening,

How nauseating

Is its texture!

A chunk is soon discovered.

The temperature is neutral.

Oh how unbearable,

How revolting

Is the taste!

It contorts the face.

It churns the stomach.

Why did I ever bother to try it!

One of my favorite poems that I have ever written. It is symbolism. Can you see what it symbolizes?

Poetry is not a code to be broken

I will crack this code eventually. I do like the the way you put this together. It's an interesting look at life in a creative way. Good stuff. I take it has to do with some sort of substance or foreign food you never heard of.

Thank you for the review. No. It is much deeper than food and has to do with people.
