Black Forest MattersA Poem by Earl SchumackerMatter and mind and gravityBlack Forest Matters
In the black forest matter without mind Falls by its own weight between each drop Rain happens that way when branches break Collapsed by forces of nature to the ground Sunshine is a mistake Where light penetration is not Remains sealed inside without escape Below a canopy of green shrouded in mystery Crisp leaves there to catch the woods one and all Forest creatures sink into oblivion at the sound Into puddles fit for drinking without clouds In the black forest matter without mind survives Falls by its own weight for another days design
