I Lo(athe)ve You

I Lo(athe)ve You

A Poem by Emma Claire

You are my conflict
A frustrating tease with consequence
Sweet yet bitter, but not bittersweet
-that would imply a hint of regret

You are my authentic vitality and my chamomile,
my guilt and my pride
leave me devastatingly entranced,
beautifully disgusted,
and momentarily conflicted for eternity.

Beautiful vivid words.. I love this poem. Very expressive and the epitome of every emotion associated with love. Great job.
