A Synopsis: Broken Function

A Synopsis: Broken Function

A Poem by Requs

Feeling fiction to nonfiction:

Blighted scars on mars;

The inner ripples of the brain…

Distant lustrous stars;

An eyes truth’s against a collective vain…

Telephone’s call with amplifying blistering sound;

Collected observations, post-traumatic ruined pain…

The catalyst, an everyday story:

Between the waves of city traffic heat

The faceless reap

At the corners’ end street lamp

Under dusks orange haze

Horns explode sound

To chisel in more already engraved craze;

Hundreds of souls walking through motions

Towers gather then rise

All alert is now focused onto your incoming demise

Blusterous mouths as this prisons prize;

They stand over to patronize

A self-owned, once cherished existence

Criticism however spawns all of nothing to recognize….

A continuation:

Their teeth gnaw

On the back of an already steadily declining emptiness

Lack of care produced the relished populous (~sarcasm~)

Ha, rather, a venting blindfolded power hunger

Well fed off of the laid-off newcomer

Back to the storage hangers

Well fed off of the laid-off newcomer

Feeling fiction to nonfiction:

Dinner of the wealthy;

The green room with a television’s white noise…

A run through green valleys, endurance of the healthy;

Human waste, the public trash dump, smells gifted for muse…

Coy gained the plenty;

Coy permanently shriveled the cords, sockets, drums, nose holes…

An overall synopsis:

The neon glow of a loner

(Flicker, flicker in the nigh of eve)

The glam of a former poser

(A druggy, in front of a store gate shifting slightly forward and back on his knees)(~imagination~)

The damage of a traitor

(All wasted acquired anger)

The result of a loser:

A dried out body, a withered soul

A weakest link less than nothing

A body with broken function

The conclusion:

One less person
