Dream

Dream

A Poem by Ed Fagan

covered eyes deception

your subtle scent renewed

the life I had envisioned

involved someone like you

if I could create a flower

and paint a peaceful hue

I'd owe the world a masterpiece

with the subtle scent of you.

I absorb your silence

and I know I misconstrue

if I were to gift the world

it'd be the beauty which is you.

not being a romantic AT ALL I have to say well done ... usually I cringe when I read the romance but with your words I smiled a big smile at the lovely depth I felt in a love conveyed ... I hope your muse knows these words :) xx

no problem, it was really beautiful and I liked your rhyming scheme
(I wonder if you mean "scent" in stead of"sent"?)

This is so beautiful; if you're not used to writing like this, it doesn't show. Really lovely, Ed...thank you so much for sharing this and stepping out of your comfort zone to do so.
