My eyes

If only you could see yourself through my eyes
Maybe then you’d see how perfect you truly are
Maybe then you’d see the twinkle in your eyes
Or the sweetness in your dimples
Maybe then you’d see the glitter in your smile
Or the glisten of gold in your hair
Maybe then you’d hear the sweet melody that is your laugh
Or how beautiful your singing is
Maybe then you’d realize how strong you really are
Or how much you’ve overcome
Maybe one day you’ll see yourself through my eyes
Only then will you realize how perfect you truly are
