Stop being pretentious existential love

Stop being pretentious existential love

A Poem by L'Enfant Terrible

I sat on Solitude Hill the other day
and the sky just in front of my nose
if knowledge was so easy to get grip of

Once upon a time there was a guy called Jean Paul
he told me stories and opinions
that made me cry

And then the other day
young man Sören and I took a ride
by the motorway to Meaning
he let his toungue to mess around
I don't know what got more abused
if my mind or my mouth

In the last day before the first day of the rest of my life
Albert and Martin showed up
they shouldn't have
cause now I'm wisely ruined for the good or bad
[Sein?]
Heaven knows, ok, he doesn't
Society does
[Was ist Dasein?]
Ugly, dolled, hypocrite, piece of scum
[Und wo liegt Zeit?]

You ruined my life

You did it
You do it
You will do it
You have done it
You had done it
You will have done it
You have been doing it
You are doing it
And so on

In the neverending ways to say something
but in different time and place

But dear, why do I keep telling you boring stories
of a bunch of dudes you had barely heard of
and from whom of course you don't give 2 f***s?

Is the pills baby I promise it is
probably the insomnia
or very few sex...

[God knows] No, he doesn't

Come Love to the sea
And let's embrace to our own existence
just you and me
finite space
        finite time
                finite relation.

Don't cry for my cruel words they just mean to keep you warned.
Life sucks it all out of you anyway.
Wait, this is wrong.
and maybe you can blame on this Emil Mihai guy...

Sartre. Camus. That fellow Kierkegaard. So many interesting fellas here. It shows you're a proper 'culture s**t' (and y'know what I mean by that!). I like how you mix it with a bit of German. I love the swearing, I love the angery - and most of all - the honesty in it.

I like that you used the first names of existential writers Sartre, Kierkegaard, Camus and Heidegger. Its interesting the way you relate love to existentialism. A witty and intelligent read. The repetition in the wording and the sounding of the words works well. Apart from needing to making your writing a bit simpler in places you write well.
