For The Love Of...

For The Love Of...

A Poem by L'Enfant Terrible
"

I want to eat the entire world, not only a part of it.

"
When I was a kid
They sat me at the table
Despisable people (my parents)
Set the important things of life
in order and then to ask:

"Tell us sun, tell us,
what is important?"

What the hell I was suppossed to know
about such irrelevant matters
for the mind of a child?

Drugs; I won't do them now
God; is when I start to behave seriously bad
Politics; I'm a juridical nothing
Money; money buys things, I like this.

Then time passed
little sun became noon sun
that was the exact moment
and my parents didn't ask

So I sat at my own will on the table
take the things that makes the world go round
out of the magic experiences box
and questioned myself:

"So now
what is important?"

Everything

So I crashed the table
throwing everything far

Money, drugs, politics
sex, religion, power
and faith

Education, philosophy, art
Health, love, hate, strength
and earth.

Peace, war, family, purity
intelligence, numbness
ignorance and beauty.

Lies, they're all lies.

"Drugs; I won't do them now
God; is when I start to behave seriously bad
Plotics; I'm a juridical nothing
Money; money buys things, I like this."

That's a interesting part.
Though shouldn't it be Politics?

Its a powerful piece with a lot to say.
However it does over complicate itself
and get a bit detracting.

"Education, philosophy, art
Health, love, hate, strenght
and earth." Again that should be strength.

Hope you pick up on these little things.
Other than that you write interestingly and its good
to see that you have your own voice.
You don't see that so much these days ;)
Nor the ability to have something to say
and be able to say it in a poetical and unique way.

If you sharpen over a few small grey areas in your writing
then your writing will appeal even more so.

A brilliant personal and social comment, and the authors note at the top is exactly how I feel sometimes. After being spoon fed through all of your younger years, afraid to experience anything, there comes a time to spread your wings and eat the entire world. Great job.

Such an irreverent, polemic writing. I love the passion, I love that! And I know you're a writer who's not afraid to tell it all like it is. That's where the beauty lies.
"Money; money buys things, I like this.

It's a very nice one. I truly like it.
