I am but a shadow

Hovering in the crowd

Noticable,

Not tangible

 

I am but a black reflection,

Present,

Yet forgotten

 

I am not quite nothing,

But as close as you can get

 

Quietly ignored,

But not shunned

 

I am but a quiet reminder

A listener,

Always in attendance,

Infallible 

 

I am but a little companion

Discardable,

Forever caring

 

Who am i...?
