Once of the hardest things in this world is learning to be ok with being alone especially as we get older so at time we rush into relationships just to have a companion. Love you mention that your brief pause has not quiet your desires. Beautifully put because our desires truly never end. We all should hold on to what feels right. Your brevity here makes it all the more poignant to me. It feels like a thought, the dreaded thought, when life seems overwhelming and confusing. Where did it go wrong? At what point? Should we have foreseen this "dead end"? Emotion can be a wind at our backs sometimes and sweep us away...perhaps the wall is all that stops us in a surge like that... I wax too wordy perhaps. Just wanted to stop by and say "hi" and see what you are up to. It's been a long time.

i don't think it's our choices that lead us astray; in fact, beyond puberty, we aren't led anywhere we didn't ask to go...more likely it's the looming desires, and the briefness of the pause...anyhow, thanks for sharing

the parts of us that make the same debilitating choices repeatedly across a life, are more subterranean than conscious...we don't decide or make a choice to love, we find ourselves in the midst of it...it isn't the fact of our choice that is amiss, it is the quality...and those stubborn subterranean dimensions of mind that we call heart, just seem to love to sing the blues...until...

how some FEEL their loneliness more deeply, more personally. How some need to reach out because they hurt. How some settle for company. I've questions of wanting more, and the risks of admitting it. Lots of thoughts...
