Oblivion

Oblivion

A Poem by Eiri

Pain and destruction is what she knew

She delved into the darkness

And left the light

As she fell further in

A light searched for her

As tears fell she turned away

He tried to reach her but couldn't

He called to her but darkness held

His light dimmed as she turned away

She went deeper into the darkness

And fell into oblivion

Falling and spinning into it

As she fell she saw his light

She then knew that he will come for her

And save her from oblivion

I thought it was good. Imagery, at least in poetry, is very easy for people to create. This poem lets you use the word to create your own idea of oblvion (mine is in an empty, half destroyed building like in my poem A Note From Oblivion). No need for imagery unless that's your particular style. I say great job.

The poem was alright. It lacked outstanding imagery, but it was alright.
