Graciouslly I'll Take My End

Graciouslly I'll Take My End

A Poem by Elaenor Aisling
"

How I would wish my final moments in life...

"
Graciously I'll take my end
rest at last, from long-worn cares
No time to waste
none for to spend
Graciously I'll take my end.

Softly I will speak my last
no volume needed, for all will hear
no cry to utter
no frightened gasp
Softly I will speak my last

Calmly will I make my peace
no grovelling, pleading, but with grace
no promise to keep
no vow to cease
Calmly will I make my peace

Graciously I'll take my end
No angst, but peace as I oft said
it was foretold
and did portend
So Graciously, I'll take my end

Really good poem with nice meter and diction throughout. I hope my end is the same.
