Honesty

Honesty

A Poem by ElephantRoom

Breaking I'm always breaking
I broke it all with my touch
Now I just might break down
you'll never get it
How could you after all when I don't get it myself
Shaking I'm always  shaking
I shuck and fell to the ground
I'm far from perfect
But at times I do strive I try I have nothing else

I'll open up someday
I'll show you my true face
No leaving I will stay
You'll see my darkest place
But I fear you will see me different
That's why I'm so distant
Distant distant distant

I'll tell you if you want it
I'll tell you if you want honesty
I'll  tell you if you want it
I'll tell you if you want honesty
I'll tell you if you promise
I'll tell you if you promise me
You'll try your best to understand

Falling I'm always falling
And I fell from the towers
Free falling it's the end
It has been like this for years but you didn't notice
Calling I'm always calling
I called and called for hours
Lonesome, be my friend
I lost sight of all my wants and needs I must focus

I'll open up someday
I'll show you my true face
No leaving I will stay
You'll see my darkest place
But I fear you will see me different that's why I'm so distant
Distant distant distant

I'll tell you if you want it
I'll tell you if you want honesty
I'll  tell you if you want it
I'll tell you if you want honesty
I'll tell you if you promise
I'll tell you if you promise me
You'll try your best to understand
