Life Is What We Make

Life Is What We Make

A Poem by E.G. James

Turn up I'm going out
I'm taking you with me
We'll leave without a single doubt
Burn all your fake id's
We're young so let's not pretend
That we are older than we are
We've got a live to attend
You don't have to look that far

Singing loud, neighbors can hear
Singing loud, the town can hear
Because we no longer live with fear
Sing loud so the world can hear

We take it easy
We've made our lemonade
We're feeling pretty
So we're living like life is a parade
No longer have regrets
We've ate our cake
Get ready set
Go life is what we make

We are all royalty
We live life very full
Long live the kings and Queens
This is our freedom rule
So we don't go by your majesty
Call us by our names and let us be

Singing loud, neighbors can hear
Singing loud, the town can hear
Because we no longer live with fear
Sing loud so the world can hear

We take it easy
We've made our lemonade
We're feeling pretty
So we're living like life is a parade
No longer have regrets
We've ate our cake
Get ready set
Go life is what we make

We're getting older
So there is no need to rush
The world is getting colder
But there's still some we trust
We are young
I have much to learn, you're not the only one

We take it easy
We've made our lemonade
We're feeling pretty
So we're living like life is a parade
No longer have regrets
We've ate our cake
Get ready set
Go life is what we make
