Dancing with Angels

Dancing with Angels

A Poem by Elisabeth Acosta
"

Sweet dreams lead into the arms of forgetfulness, so that I might live

"
She dances with angles in lucid dreams
Caught between Zion and reality
Where stars and rose petals melt
Crimson stain sweet memories of pain

She dances with angels in lucid dreams
She wears emeralds on her fingertips
Rubies on her lips, amethyst eyes
Hair made of pearls

She dances with angels in lucid dreams
Caught between the moon and the sun
Hair made of pearls with her amethyst eyes
Lucid dreams lift her to the sky

She dances with angels in a world all her own
Caught between the moon and the sun
Where innocence died, sweet petals of crimson fell
Stolen between the moon and the sun

She Dances with angels in dreams of opiate clouds
Where memories die and innocence stolen
Runs crimson to the ground buried in tears
Caught between liquid dreams and reality

She dances with angels in sweet crimson dreams
Where innocence taken between the moon and the sun
Sweet dreams of opiates where laughter dies and joy forgotten
She's dancing with angels in her liquid sky

Crimson flow runs as she's dancing with angels
Free at last

About
I am without a doubt an idealist, but I do have a touch of realism embedded into my character. I love to write. There is nothing more beautiful to me than words that can create life! more..
