Too Far For Reason

Too Far For Reason

A Poem by Eli_blu
"

I actually have this set to a creepy little tune, but it's sung from three different points of view, so the tune changes. The song gets lower for each character, so it starts really high, then ends at about average for me.

"

To Far For Reason

Let go.

I know.

She will wash me new.

No pain.

No tears.

Help me to bloom.

I know.

You hurt.

I know how you feel.

But let her,

In your heart,

To experience what’s real.

I won’t let you leave,

I won’t let you go.

I know what she sees,

Something you don’t know.

But here we are again,

Even though she hears us.

And we’ll try again,

Even if you leave us.

I didn’t want to take her,

But you pushed me too far.

Too far for reason anymore.
