Summary

A Chapter by Elise Pehrson

Chantel is
the most average eighteen-year-old anyone could ever imagine. Nik is a quiet
boy that just moved to the states from Holland. It’s fall and their senior year
of high school just began. Chantel loves to sing, Nik loves to argue. Although
both have headstrong personalities, they both also possess the most tender,
loving human heart. They had no idea what would happen to them, for them, or that they’d even fall in love. Through thick and thin they stayed
together until something tore them away unexpectedly. Lost and alone, Chantel
begins work as a nanny and then for years works as an aide at a senior home
until coming across an opportunity to find Nick again: through music. When
offered a chance at a small singing career in Europe, Chantel accepts in
hopes that Nik is in his hometown in Holland and will somehow find his way to
her. Her singing was one thing Chantel knew would always put a smile on Nik’s
face, and now that may be the only way she can ever see him again. Not
expecting the popularity she would receive, Chantel encounters much more than
she had ever anticipated; both good and bad. Through it all though, the only
thing she really wants is for her love to return to her, wherever he may be.
Because finding him will solve everything… if he even still loves her.

So Chantel and Nik are the main characters of this particular story. So far, all I see is a summary. Not that I'm complaining, but I think your summary gives away too much of your story before it even gets started. But I do like the promise this has.
