ForgottenA Poem by Elise PehrsonThose words 'I love you' can be spoken and can be told. I remember feeling them, seeing them being told by your eyes as they examined my flaws and registered them as perfection.
I miss you. I miss the way you told me wiping away my tears with the softness of your heart. When you'd put it all aside for me, and when I told you I only want you and you replied with burning tears swelling, "as if I'd let anyone else have you." What can I do to feel that way again? To make you feel that way again, will it happen? Or will it constantly haunt every night in those bittersweet dreams? I miss it. I wish I cherished every second while it was still reality; the warmth of your arms the tenderness of your smile that smile, the one that made my inside flutter connecting every vein to my heart.
How I miss the taste of your kiss. Have you forgotten me? The way it felt to be in love? I'm left here to believe you still have that connection with me for me. But let me know please Before I'm forgotten. © 2012 Elise PehrsonReviews
