When it all Ends

When it all Ends

A Poem by Elizabeth Porterfield
"

A depressing little bit that somehow brings out courage.

"

An emptiness inside

If feels like i'm drowning

in a void

no air so i can't scream

noone to hear me anyway

as i slowly slipaway

no light so i can't see

no hope to carry me

Desolation is all i know

other than destruction

It really doesn't matter though.

One day everything ends.

This torment will end too.

I will find a way out

of this burning black hole

And i'll do it all alone.

I love this poem.
The story you through it tell is something a lot of people can relate to: feeling empty and unheard, having no one to lean on and slowly falling into a metaphoric hole of isolation. Finding that Self destruction is all they know because if you can hurt yourself, that means your alive right? that this is all real, even if you feel numb to it all.
I love this poem so much. great job. There are some grammar problems, but their not distracting from the meaning and emotion of the poem. I can't wait to read more from you.
