Memory

Memory

A Poem by Ellie Elizabeth
"

Inspired by The Cure and the darkness they seem to create all on their own. -Kind of a short somewhat confusing poem/lyrics to a song.

"

Re-awoken from my aching slumber, the dark takes over and I hear the rope caress your neck,

pale you’ve become, the sound of your lungs ripping bleeds into my ears and forces me to remember.

The angst of your past.

Grip your throat and open your mouth to blackening eyes.

You feed on flesh tone divine.

The flesh gliding your mouth, overflowing your lips in red…

Ivory defines the dark in your eyes, bleeding in secret.

Your lies told truth, to the derogatory black and white image in your mind.

The memory of those eyes blind my youth, and locks into my skin

; the death of an aura un-cleansed.

A amazing poem. Description create vision of rope caressing a neck and leading to the bleeding of desire and will.. No weakness in this poem. Just a journey into a dead end road in your words. A strong ending to a excellent poem.
