Overcast

Overcast

A Poem by Ellie Howard

A new graveled paradise,

With palm beside the road,

Dusted asphalt, soaking up the sun,

While the salted ocean current

Drags along the tendrils

Of the blistered, peril city.

An overcast shore,

The arbiter’s beach,

Tenant the waves

In Surf,

Along the periphery of radiance,

Hidden beyond the horizon’s

Crystalline bastion.

I like the description and the photo. Your words gave me the desire to walk upon a long beach. Thank you for the excellent poetry.

Lovely imagery. Good job. You may want to check the title again though you don't HAVE to change it of course, but other than that, great job :)
