My A-Z

My A-Z

A Poem by Ginger With A Pen

A night sky

Bearing jewels of the universe

Crystalline lights

Dancing in the eyes of a young child

Ember was her name.
Flowers in a field

Gracefully swaying in the night breeze

Hazily reflecting the moonlight

Invisible, their perfume creates cloud

Joining the sky with the earth, as it should be.
Kindling the fire of inspiration

Love radiates from the stars and the moon

Making silent songs

Nestling into the hardest of souls
Owner of the night

Princess of all dreams

Queen Luna

Ruling the sky

Sister of all that is dark

Takes her ethereal hand to caress

Under your chin, she turns your head to the sky

Violet begins to peak out from the horizon

“When again will I see you again?” You ask her

Xenially, she lets your head fall back down, leaving you to wonder

Zaffre skies are the last you see before the beginning of a dreamful rest.

Wow! I am really impressed that you've made a poem with all the lines in alphabetical order AND it makes sense. The way it flows so well together makes it seem like it was effortless. A couple of other things that I really enjoyed about this poem are the imagery, and the ethereal, mysterious tone. Beautiful work.
