The 'only' star in my dark sky

Sometimes it happens that one person walks into our life and changes everything. They love us like with all their heart but you just end messing and ruining it all up. Its very sad.

He's been hurt before, broken and bruised
Pretending to be bulletproof,
He accepted all my issues
He said with pride " she's mah girl "
But little did he know that I'm just like all .
I saw his love burning brighter than the sun,
Giving me warmth in dark cold nights
When I'd no one .
But as the obvious,
I let him slip away , despite the intensity in his eyes
I let him go , although he's all I want
And I leave him again , still madly in love with him;
Cuz I've always been bad at this.
Now filled with guilt and despair ,
I know he's gone...

This is something that I always do - mess up things in between people and relationships despite of putting all my efforts . Hope you all like the Poem and enjoy it.
