Mornings of Mine

I am a woman
full of Loneliness & Heartbreak.
A dark energy surrounds me,
wanting me to cover up & hide.
Always ‘too in my head’.
Always too impulsive.
Always thinking irrationally.

This is what mornings are like.

This poem certainly captures those feelings of self doubt and pain. I know these feelings all too well, considering my depression a few years ago. The feeling that you shouldn't even bother getting up and going because you truly believe that you won't accomplish anything, and the total lack of motivation. Nice work here.
