Fire Girl

Fire Girl

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

A quiet village girl
under lock and key.
Putting on war paint
dipped in peace.
Hid away books
with words.
Took pleasure
in their smell.
A quiet girl with
demons in her mind
learned how to
breathe fire
and banished us
to the depths
of Hell.
