Another Fine Morning

It's early in the morning

I smell my favorite champorado

The sun is brightly shining

Hoping that lunch will be adobo

It's the start of a new week

Because it's another Sunday

Good thing the sky ain't so bleak

On this fine lovely day

Hearing the cars and tricycles

Another busy yet fine hour

In the streets of Fairview

I wonder what today will be

The sound of Manong's voice

Exclaiming "Bili na! Bili na!"

The neighbors had the choice

To buy the product of deliciousness 

It's another fine morning

Here in Quezon City

Somehow I'm yearning

from today is serenity 

Knowing now is the present

Before was the past

Later is the future

Makes you wonder what will happen

The sun glowed its blinding light

Giving warmth to every man

The sky so blue and so bright

Making a person feel light

Author's Note

Champorado is a famous Filipino dessert. Adobo is a common Filipino dish. Manong means Old Man and Bili na means Buy now! =))
