Shades of Emily

This is me BLUE. For I remain grounded and humble by the sky that rests above me

This is me ORANGE. As I long for the taste of this world that is illuminated by our sun

This is me PINK. For I wish to keep my innocence and sense of compassion for people

This is me GREEN. For I appreciate the worlds gifts and the beauty it supplies me with

This is me BLACK. For my love of classic things

This is me LAVANDER. For my soft and approachable nature

This is me YELLOW For I hope and pray to spread the world with the bright positive energy that each one of us desires

All these colors represent me. 

Who I am.

My personality inside and out. 

In a few years I will grow into adulthood and see more of the world. 

I can't wait to see the colors I will add then. 

Author's Note

A friend of mine, on the cafe, inspired me and coached to me write this. I wrote the colored portion and he wrote the ending for me. Hope everyone likes it

So very creative indeed. There is so much optimism in this poem that it's immensely uplifting. My favorite colors you expressed were Green, Lavender, and Yellow. I hope you don't mind me doing something similar, I just thought that this was a genius idea for a poem. Well done. :)
