Its three in the morning,

Sleep eludes me, dreaming of seeing your handsome face.

I wish I could see you again.

There was a time when the thought of love made no sense at all,

But now its the only explanation.

Its got to be love,

It can only be love,

I love you...

No matter the distance between us,

I picture your face and my world lights up.

In the darkest moments, you are what saves me,

Love saves me...

Please promise me,

Don't ever leave me.

Life doesn't always go our way,

We may run out of time,

But we could never run out of love...

Your heartbeat on top of mine,

Its so much more then just skin on skin,

Hand in hand,

Walking to the beach,

Kissing in the rain...

I love you,

Only you, 

No one else but you,

I can't see anyone but you,

Yours is the only face in my mind,

The only voice in the dark...

Its got to be love,

That's the only explanation...

Wonderful emotions flowing through this poem, and it brightly reflects off the mood that you have. It's quite strange that physical actions such as cuddling and holding hands can have such an emotional affect in the mentality of a person. Lovely write, keep up the wonderful work!

Love is an interesting emotion that has a roller coaster effect on us. Sure, it can make us or break us, but it is fond of good memories of us with one that we care a lot about. Memories we will never forget and emotions that only that certain person can make us feel...it will never be the same with anyone else. I liked the emotion in this poem and the title also reminded me of The Beatles song "All You Need is Love".
