Last Breath

Last Breath

A Poem by ℰmerald ⚓

Day becomes night
I wouldn't hesitate
To die fighting
I wait

Yell becomes scream
Never good enough
Not even in a dream
I wait

Truth becomes tears
I'm just a disappointment
So what's another beer
I wait

Pain becomes pills
I quiver
And everything stood still
I wait

Threat turns to break
My eyes turn grey
With every breath I take
I wait

Hours in hell
Minutes of misery
Seconds till sleep

Just wait

About
I don't post as much as I used to, I'll trash most of the songs I write because I always compare them to my favorite bands' music and it just never seems good enough. I don't think my poems and stori.. more..
