Wherefore vex our happiness?

Our body’s art vehemently because of thee

What have we wrought to have sadness?

I trow everyday does this pain have to be?

 

Thou art the one to show the way

But thee wit how to make tears fall

Wherefore set our hearts gray?

We had wrought naught at all

 

Thither is overmany more pain

More than thee shall feel

When thee feel tears of rain

Thee shall wit we’ll never heal
