You sit there with eyes of tears

Praying for a god to hold

You wonder why you are in fear

You hold back every emotion that’s so cold

 

The scars that appear won’t go

With tears that won’t end

You fade away from a world that won’t do

For the inside that you are, you pretend

 

You hide your sadness underneath

Finding ways to cope with a blade

Maybe at night graining your teeth

But you know your pain won’t fade

 

You may feel but you’re not alone

We all come to a heartless zone
