Springtime jubilee

Springtime jubilee

A Poem by EmpressPoetess

I'm in some euphoric place

or is this a dreamy state?

the sun is shining on my face

life has so filled my plate!

a butterfly just kissed my cheek

I smell lilies and roses violets

and sugar sweet honeysuckle

the blossoms are at their peak!

Lying here on a cool carpet

of the lush green grass of spring

tapping my feet to to a raven's song

makes me want to dance and sing

Are those peaches hanging there

and wild berries growing everywhere?

the world is bursting with color

and sights and sounds of splendor

I feel happy, I feel gay

to be enjoying such a day

let's go fishing, let's go play!

spring is here, hurray, hurray!

Awe this is really sweet and fun... it really gives off that light hearted vibe that is spring... great descriptions, can't help but smile reading it.
