Come to me softly

Come to me softly

A Poem by EmpressPoetess

Black velvet silhouettes dance vividly
against a clear, cobalt night sky

silvery moonlight shimmers brightly in
between the leaves of great redwoods

I feel your breath, as soft as a whisper
Call to me, “come to me softly, beloved,

the Raven's cry is our call to surrender”
teasingly you kiss my bare shoulders

your lips meet mine, slow and tender
sending my spirit soaring into the night

my fingers find and caress your cheek,
as gentle as a breeze, evoking passion

revealing that joy is but a breath away
and we shall burn throughout this night.

Very sensuous and seductive.

' my fingers find and caress your cheek'
Which cheek? the face or the ........

I guess that's where the imagination comes in.

Nice poem, Poetress
