In a sense of reality

I found the hidden message

To seek the words

To speak to me

To keep the words

To speak through me

 

I found a light inside my tunnel

Funneled by your ignorance

Through wind of all your methods

Collecting dust in turn

 

I gave you all the time you needed

I gave such an ultimatum

And in return

My skin is burned

My sins seemed washed away

What could I say

To change the way

This ended?

To erase the pain of yesterday

And ask you to stay…

You never stay.

 

Did you find the time

To fall from grace

To cut your wings, to lose your pace

Do you find in time

The words I said

The meaning of the lasting impression

No longer an obsession in my head

 

You don’t know who I am

So how can it ever be…

Please forgive me

I thought you cared…

I thought.
