hope

everything is so dark now

in a long, winding tunnel form like a black hole

bc no light seems to get through

but nothing lasts forever

it will get lighter

but to get there

you just have to try

try and stay alive

so you can live and see the light

There is light at the end of the tunnel, as they say! Today, someone was telling me that their grandfather advised them that even when the going gets tough, the tough get going. In other words, things could be bad but there is always a good day and a bad day. Sometimes things seems shocking, depressing and impossible, but other days, everything is wonderful. I wonder why everything is so dark as there are not a lot of images as some writers were wont to provide

i really appreciate you posting this .. it took courage and stamina to do it .. bravo! so many many of us suffer from depression as a result of many many things .. every time we persevere, light and comfort will endure and we become stronger .. more able to have faith through things that seem so out of our own control .. it does get better .. thank you for reminding me of it!!

the words can help others if they heed the advice...my only criticism is the use of "bc" rather than spelling out the word...but when things get the blackest, that is when we need to try our hardest to survive to see the light.
