Forbidden Love

Forbidden Love

A Poem by Kate
"

The title says it all. :]

"
Here I admire from afar,
My eyes glimmering with want
Lusting, pining, longing
Like a tiger on the hunt.

I plead with you inside my head,
Want you to look my way
Daydreams float inside my head,
As do words I'll never say.

My lips are craving for your kiss
My hands, for you to take
But the confession of my want for you
Is one I'll never make.

It's lust, not love, I feel for you
Running like a savage through my blood
Seeing you unleashes it,
Sends it forward like a flood.

You are unattainable,
To have you would be wrong
It draws me to you more each day,
For forbidden love I long.
