It's Not The Occasion That Is Special

A little love poem

I might compare your smile to the effulgent horizon,

And recreate the oceans' waves in your hair,

I could paint a picture of your kindness,

With only words I harvested from the air,

I should say I am sick from your contagious laugh,

Or blind by thy vast and luminous gaze,

But really all I wish to ask,

Would you be my special one, on this ordinary day?
