And He Shall Be Called...

And He Shall Be Called...

A Poem by Erik Daniel
"

The names of Jesus.

"
He is the King of Kings
The Lord of Lords
And the Prince of Peace

He is Alpha and Omega
The beginning and the end
He is our Teacher, Master, Judge; The Amen

The Son of Man is a Man of Sorrows
He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow

He is the Only Begotten Son of our Everlasting Father
And if you are thirsty he will give you Living Water

He is our Advocate, The Shepherd and The Bishop of our Souls
The Author and Finisher of our Faith and The Light of the World

He is the Chief Cornerstone and the Bridegroom
The Lion of the Tribe of Judah
He is our Rock, Redeemer, the one and only Messiah

He is the Image of the Invisible God
The Resurrection and the Life; the Holy One

He is the Way, the Truth and the Life
And if you are hungry, what a coincidence; they call him the Bread of Life

The Rose of Sharon is our Wonderful Counselor
The Almighty, Beloved, King of the Jews; Our Savior

The Lamb of God is a Faithful and True Witness
He is The Head of the Church and forgiving sins is his business

He is called Dayspring, High Priest, Our Bright and Morning Star
His name is Immanuel and he will meet you where you are.

He is the I AM
And he shall be called Jesus Christ

Oh my goodness, Erik. This was perfect. Every single word. Not only does it show how amazing He really is, but it also shows how much He cares for us. You are definitely blessed with the talent of writing. Never ever give it up. I know God has big things in store for you. :)

xD oh I see, I'm not familiar with all the versions I guess
So many beautiful words describing our Friend, yet it still feels like we are just at the tip of the iceberg....For what He did,no man can ever attempt...and His ways, our minds can't phantom...His love is forever and His mercies are renewed every morning...we are nothing but worthless and empty without Him and before your throne we humble ourselves,Our king....Erik Daniel, that is a wonderful poem....
