Routines

Routines

A Poem by EternityWolf101
"

Another one of my lost poems. Routines are so annoying.....

"
It is the same routine today
And it will be until I die

Wake up, go to work, come home, and sleep
It annoys me
Even the sky agrees

The sky seems to be under this routine as well
It is always blue
Such as myself
But likes to turn into thunder and rage
Whenever it gets the chance

I think it is nice to get away from the routine
The same thing every day
Lay in the grass
Have someone by your side
Giggling at some lame joke you made

That moment is when I turn a different color
Like the sky does when the sun hits the horizon
At just the right moment
And everything becomes beautiful
Inside this world filled with routines
Every day

Even though that's all in my imagination
Somewhere it is happening
Some people learn to get away from routine
I wish I was them

I know all about routines
They will all repeat and repeat for me
Until the day I die
