Child tragedies

Child tragedies

A Poem by Robert delfuego or Ethan
"

Have you ever written a weird poem in the middle of the night because I have. There are parts of this poem were I don't even completely understand what I was trying to say but I think the Poem is ok

"
Child tragedies
Lucy jumped off a building thinking she'd be saved
unluckily she didn't rethink that until she hit the pave
 and what a shame
who is there to blame
but yourself
as you sit in despair
 and. Can't help but care
as this girl falls through air
another child tragedy

He was gay
who cared who he choose to lay
and love
as he was pushed and shoved
by everyone and they treated like he had cancer
just cause he liked being a dancer and preferred his beers on the Lite side
the not right side in our minds
 but we were  so blind
to we're this teenager drowned himself in a bath
trying to wash away the pain
that he gained because he was different
 another child tragedy

Robert was 16 he did it with a gun
he figured whats the point when he already had a son
 at the age of one
with the gun in his mouth
and the bullet through his head
there he lay dead
 on the floor as
the child watched the blood poor
 from the hole
and another sole broken
 from
a child tragedy

His was different
 she was strange
there possibly all deranged
and we all judge them madly
but sadly there all just a child tragedy

He was retarded
discarded
 bruised and broken
chokin with despair
 at how life was unfair
and he was screwed from the start  forced to cart around problems others never would or should have to bear
but who cared because they never shared
sympathy for someone different in this child tragedy

Mistake
after mistake
 she had taken
all she could take
her heart about to break
as she rakes the money together for the pills
 that support the last thrills
that push her into death
a nervous breath
as she pops the first one in
as she awaits her death
in a child tragedy

I know it's sad
I know it's bad
so don't get mad at me
I know it's just as sad
 you see to me
we are all the next
child tragedy
waiting to happen
 when we collapse
and can't find
a way out
 without a doubt
or a breath
so desperate awaiting death

this is one weighty poem, and I commend you for trying to capture grief from so many perspectives in one poem. You told their stories well. Great Job.
