Capricorn, The Goat

Capricorn, The Goat

A Poem by VertoAtrum
"

Ah, the Cap. Standing out from the others as the smartest, and most logical. The good and bad sides of Capricorn, The Goat, December 22nd-Janurary 19th.

"

Sterns eyes like hawks they linger,

Tut-tut, they'll often waggle their finger,

Haughty, important, rude, they frown,

At every minuscule thing gone wrong,

They do not swoon, instead they shush,

Ignore all sentimental mush,

They often work and never play,

Better be nice with what you say,

Awkward, secretive, it barely shows,

Mind on the prize, eyes on the dough,

Like stone walls, they will block out,

All that bumps them off their route

Patient and just, they help the poor,

Will offer words, and so much more,

Like king's, they give away their gold,

And become wise before they're old,

A shy lover, with a diamond ring,

Their lungs burst with notes to sing,

Agile in body, abrupt in mind,

But will not leave you far behind,

Gaily they prance, just like a deer,

A guard to some, they have no fear,

Pleased as punch when you toot their horn,

You've just spoke with a Capricorn
