Love

She must find a suitor

Flowers blooming

And I am choosing

Between love or money

Might as well marry a bunny

Sick and tired of the search

I will pray in the church

For my prince charming to come along

And save me from my swan song

Stomach churning

I am still learning

For I am to be queen someday

Hopefully I can keep my feelings at bay

I cry, I'm weak

I'm at the edge of the peak

I scream into the night

I will put up a fight

Until I get love's true kiss

Something in my heart will always be amiss

Very short & sweet, although the rhyming seems so forced sometimes. I think if you elaborated on this poem and gave it more depth it'd be amazing!

Perhaps, the time hasn't come yet. I could compare the persona to that of a flower which was just starting to bloom. The beauty was yet to be witnessed and when the right time came, the bee would soon hover around. Such a sweet piece.
