A Poem by Evelynn

I can still see your smile
When I close my eyes
I can still hear your voice
And it gives me butterflies
I still feel your arms
The way they wrapped around me
I still feel my heart race
As I let myself believe
That we could be more than this
That we could be more than friends
But I know that it won’t happen
And that I won’t get my happy end
I still see your eyes
But they're looking at her
I still see the kiss
Then my world starts to blur

The memories, the longing, hope mixed with reality, the hardships of loving one as you described so beautifully, can send the heart into such a spiral. To see that which you love so much now with another is so full of emotions that I could not do it's description justice but you have. Very well done!
