I Miss You

I miss you
sometimes it burns a hole in my chest
and leaves me gasping for breath
sometimes it makes my head ache
if only to take away the pain from my heart
sometimes my arms come around myself
and pretend to be yours
I miss you so much it hurts to say it
to think it
even whisper it
but I know that if I miss you this much
I must love you even more
