MY REQUIEM.

It’s just another midnight

Where no one sees a thing

Silence meets the song I’ve been singing

And the words I’ve been saying

            Angel - I’ve got a prayer for you 

            But it’s cool if you don’t listen

            There’s more important things, I know

But - could you send down another pair of wings?

     Mine are getting a little heavy

     Even a little bruised

Please…They don’t have to be fancy

              They can even be small

and until then…

I’ll carry on.
