Wishes of a lover who took his partner's love for granted.

Tick Tock time flies
Who would have known the future was only but seconds away?
Now watching you transcend into your glorious form.
I'm left with nothing but wishful thinking
What we once had, now relics and lost in time like Atlantis.
If only words could restore what's lost my darling
I'll send you an infinity.
Face so fair and bright like the cherubs
Skin so smooth and radiant like the finest of silk and linen
An orchestra of heavenly choir or her voice? A debate always in my head
Steps so graceful, regally manifested.
A body and touch Cleopatra would kill for.
Eyes bright and beautiful like Lucy In The Sky
Constellations can't comprehend your shine
An epitome of elegance
I know I wasn't yours even when I was yours.
I was a closed book with an attractive cover, you tried to read but there was nowhere to open.
If I could behold the sands of time
If I could wake up from this nightmare
If only I could turn back the hands of time
I'll take off the veil that covered my mind's eye so I could love you like you truly deserve.
I'll love you so pure that Venus, cupid or Aphrodite couldn't do any better
For every minute I neglected you, I'll give back hours of amends
Now my mistakes, my regrets I'll forever carry till the end of time
And if I ever get another chance , you would never be " The One Who Got Away ".
You gonna be right where my heart is supposed to be and your name will be written in the stars.
