Writers Alone
The Poem

Darkness sits an early morn',
clicking yields a story born.

One by one the hour's pass,
the prose continues all so vast.

The light peeps through a window shone,
he may not notice he's a writer alone.

On the day he works his art.

She awakes in some other part.

Her hair undone no makeup on,
Only pajamas a robe does she don.

First checking her nail and then her mail,
Monitors glow suggests her pale.

Reading she considers chat or phone,
she may not notice she's a writer alone.

Online they greet online they meet,
Exchanging only stories or feat.

Working together they both create,
Laughing and crying to make it great.

Day turns to night it does this in spite,
They both wrote all day hoping its right.

What they have together isn't a pun,
Two writers alone, now become one.
